SBM ONLINE: The School of Business Management (SBM) and Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) participated in the UVT FEAA INTERNATIONAL HRM Spring School (IHRMSS) programme that was held from the 8th till 16th of April, 2019 in Timisoara, Romania. The participants from UUM which consisted of three lecturers and five postgraduate students were led by Associate Professor Dr. Abdullah Lin.

The UVT FEAA IHRM Spring School programme is an international educational program that provides a unique space for learning and networking for students from Romania and their peers from all around the world. The programme aims to deepen and consolidate knowledge on Human Resource Management from international and practical perspectives. This year’s theme was “Employability and Talent Management in the Digital Era - Best Practices”.

During this programme, distinguished speakers from the commercial and academic sectors managed to provide the participants with a better understanding of Human Resource and Talent Management topics, by sharing their diverse perspectives and experiences. Lectures, debates and workshops were conducted to ensure that participants were able to absorb the required knowledge, think innovatively and creatively so that they can use their skills, knowledge and abilities to create strategies to overcome current challenges in the Human Resource field. Aside from the educational program, participants also took part in a variety of social activities which was arranged by the organizer.

Even though the weather in Timisoara was cold, everyone enjoyed the programme tremendously and was looking forward to come back to beautiful Timisoara.
