SBM ONLINE: 8 Mac 2018, Sintok – The School of Business Management (SBM) can now continue with the collaboration agenda after TEKUN National affirmation with the suggestions proposed by the SBM during their visit to SBM today.

This brief visit was a response by the TEKUN National after receiving a courtesy visit from SBM Dean, Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah together with Associate Professor Dr. Norashidah Hashim. During the visit, SBM has expressed the intention to collaborate and assist TEKUN National in areas involving academic improvisation (education), research, publication and case studies.

The TEKUN National delegation was headed by Dato 'Adam Abd Ghani, Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Corporate) and has expressed the consent of the TEKUN National especially in the aspect of academic improvement among TEKUN staff and entrepreneurs which are currently under their supervision. The TEKUN National has also submitted a letter of intent (LOI) to develop a TEKUN case study to UUM Vice-Chancellor. Currently, the TEKUN Nasional is channelling a total funding of RM 4.88 billion to 396,836 entrepreneurs.

Prior to that, the TEKUN delegation arrived at UUM Anjung Tamu and was greeted by Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, Assoc Prof Dr. Norashidah Hashim and the SBM team. The delegation was also brought to UUMIT for a short visit and was briefed on the UUMIT system by the UUMIT's Director, Mr Kamarudin Abdullah. The TEKUN delegates together with the SBM management team were also brought to the IT Operation Center (ITOC) to have a view of the UUM system at large.
