SBM signed the Letters of Intent with 82 Indonesian institutions of higher learning

On 26.1.2017, the School of Business Management (SBM), COB has officially signed the Letters of Intent (LOIs) with 82 Indonesian institutions of higher learning. This cooperation is made possible with the full support of the Academic International Consortium of Indonesia led by Dr. H. K Prihartono, who is also the organizer of Piksi International Conference on Knowledge and Science which took place on 26.1.2017 – 27.1.2017.


Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, Dean of SBM said that this effort was part of the strategy to increase the number of international students for undergraduate, masters and PhDs, and others particularly in SBM, and generally in UUM; which is in line with UUM agenda of the Strategic Plan for Phase 2. The representatives of the 82 institutions which comprised of the top leaderships and rectors are very excited to study and at the same time to send their lecturers for PhD program in UUM.


In conjunction with the event, Prof. Dr. Haim has conducted a special workshop to explain the terms and conditions of pursuing the study in UUM. The sessions were successfully conducted together with Associate Prof. Dr. Ismail Lebai Othman. "Their determination to pursue their studies and send their lecturers to study in UUM is a very good sign for SBM and UUM," said Associate Prof. Dr. Ismail Lebai Othman.
